The Boxer PMS80 hydraulic disc mower is designed for everyday work in the field, where efficiency, simplicity and versatility are important. This machine comes into its own in all kinds of mowing jobs, especially in places where traditional PTO-driven mowers cannot be used.
Ideal for shovels and compact loaders
Because the PMS80 is hydraulically driven, it is perfect for combining with shovels, articulated loaders or compact wheel loaders. The mower is coupled via a EURO or W-connection, making it immediately usable on common machines in farmyards, contracting companies and municipal services.
For users already working with shovels - e.g. for feeding, silage driving or earth moving - this means that the same machine can now be used for mowing, without PTO or additional tractors.
Farmyard, roadside and field applications
In practice, the PMS80 is widely used for:
- Yard and path maintenance: mowing grass edges, embankments and verges along concrete paths or yard pavements.
- Meadow or plot edges: neatly mowing along fences or ditch edges, where larger mowers cannot reach properly.
- Nature management and dung control: mowing light storage, reed or coarse vegetation in nature strips.
- Municipal applications: use by green ploughs for maintenance of park areas, road verges or green spaces between cycle paths.
The 80 cm wide mower disc allows fast mowing of large areas, while the compact size still offers manoeuvrability - especially in narrow or hard-to-reach areas. The blades on the disc can be easily replaced and rotate freely, preventing damage in case of contact with obstacles such as stones or bollards.
Hydraulic drive: simple and powerful
With a required oil flow of 40 to 65 litres per minute, the PMS80 fits well with the hydraulic system of most compact shovels. No additional features are required: just connect, activate hydraulics and mow away.
